Calla

Terms of use

Draft for review. Written from the Calla build bible (sheet 24). Have it reviewed before publishing. Last updated 31 October 2026.

1. What Calla is

Calla is a personal diary for tracking menopause symptoms, periods and HRT. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and comparisons only show patterns in your own entries. Always discuss symptoms and treatment with your GP, doctor or healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Free and Pro

Core features are free. Calla Pro is an optional subscription (monthly or annual) sold by BufferSol Technologies through Stripe. New customers get a 7-day free trial, once per customer.

3. Billing, renewal and cancellation

After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the price shown on the paywall until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Subscription → Manage or cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We remind you 2 days before a free trial ends. Refund requests: support@buffersoltech.com; statutory rights in your country are not affected.

4. Your data

You own your diary. See the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure; turn on the app lock if others use your device.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other people's data, or reverse-engineer our server.

6. Liability

Calla is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made using the app or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll show the date above and tell you in the app for material changes. Contact: support@buffersoltech.com. Governing law: England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
